Can we start the year again because I am not ready?

This is the second time in a row I haven’t felt the joy of crossing over into a new year. I am grateful for life, family, and friends, but I can’t seem to find the excitement that comes with the new year.

It’s that time of the year when friends are cancelling friends, the new year new me movement is on steroids, and everyone is striving for perfection that doesn’t exist.
